Did You Know…that this “miracle stone” can conquer toxins, free radicals, and electromagnetic radiation?
The ancient healing shungite stone has only recently drawn attention in the West for its healing and purifying properties, but in fact this “stone of life” has been used in medical treatment since early in 18th-century Russia. Peter the Great is said to have set up Russia’s first spa in Karelia to take advantage of shungite’s water-purifying properties. He also used shungite to purify water for the Russian army—and today, shungite’s anti-bacterial properties have been confirmed by modern testing.
The Miracle of Fullerenes
Shungite is a black, lustrous, non-crystalline mineraloid made up by weight of more than 98% carbon. Shungite is quite rare, found mostly in certain parts of Russia, and it contains powerful potential antioxidants called fullerenes. Fullerenes are unique in their ability to remain intact while magnetizing and destroying free radicals.
The Dangers That Surround Us
Every day we’re exposed to free radicals, toxins, and electromagnetic radiation that can cause potentially fatal diseases. Cell phones present an especially frightening risk as many of us use them for hours every single day—despite the possible link between cell phone use and the increase in fatal brain tumors over the last ten years.
Those who study shungite believe it not only protects the body from toxins, but also from electromagnetic radiation. Research by Tula Scientific and Research Institute has shown that placing shungite materials near a source of cellular frequency radiation significantly weakens their effect on the human body.
Shungite in direct contact with the human body is even believed by some to bring relief from pain while improving the symptoms of a number of illnesses related to the musculoskeletal system. “Shungite water” (water that has had a shungite stone left to soak in it) is thought to contribute to the rapid healing of cuts and other skin ailments.
The Many Properties of Shungite
Shungite is believed to have a great many beneficial properties; perhaps the most important include its recognition as:
- A natural antioxidant that supports immunity
- A sorbent that purifies air and water from many organic and inorganic compounds
- An organic material that neutralizes the impact of EMFs
“This stone, which possesses amazing cleansing and healing properties, brings more pure and spiritual pleasure. Just contemplation of it calms down and comforts. It literally absorbs negative energy while emitting only positive.” From the book by M. Polevaya, Shungite: The Magic Stone of Health |
Where to Find Shungite
A crystal shop or rock shop in your area is often the best place to start your search. Most likely, shungite will be sold in a variety of forms including polished pyramids and spheres, which are useful for placing near electronics and for general purification of the environment. Typically, a two-inch piece of polished shungite will cost between $3 and $10.
Small bags of unpolished, rough shungite can also be found at reasonable prices. Unpolished shungite can be used to make shungite water, a process you can find much information about online, from large batches for soaking…to instructions for internal use. As always, experts recommend that you consult with a health expert whenever using an internal remedy.
Finally, you may find shungite for purchase online as well, but be sure to choose a reputable dealer in order to ensure that what you are ordering is, in fact, shungite.
